Welcome to Lalji Mehrotra Technical Institute (Pvt ITI)

Lalji Mehrotra Technical Institute is a training hub offering a number of skill-oriented programs through its Industrial Training Institute, Vocational Training Institute and Skill Development Institute.

The Institute’s founder, Shri. Lalji Mehrotra, who was an enormous inspiration to all of us, held the view that vocational education and training can only empower youth for both personal development, increased employability, and output, as well as for the growth of the nation’s economy.

In 1982, Shri. Lalji Mehrotra founded the Gandhi Vocational Training Institute in Vileparle, Mumbai, offering modular courses in employable skills. In 1999, the institute moved to Jogeshwari (E), a suburban area of the city across from the Hema Industrial Estate, which is 2.5 kilometers away from MIDC, Seepz, and Andheri (E), Mumbai.
